Stephanie Reyes Santiago is a dedicated and bilingual (English and Spanish) Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with extensive experience working with children in clinical, school, and community settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. While she has completed her Master’s program, Stephanie is currently in the process of obtaining her occupational therapy license, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and excellence in patient care.
Stephanie holds several certifications, including PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), which she uses daily in her work with children with articulation and phonological disorders. This technique allows her to help patients correct placement and achieve target sounds effectively, supporting their communication development.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Stephanie began her career in 2013, working in various settings that fueled her passion for helping individuals achieve their communication and functional goals. In 2015, she relocated to Maryland, gaining valuable experience in outpatient care and honing her skills in diverse therapeutic approaches. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate and engaging demeanor, ensuring that therapy sessions are both effective and enjoyable.
